Announcement on the Voluntary Children’s Chemical Evaluation Program (VCCEP)
Ad Hoc Panel Nominations for Ethylbenzene

TERA anticipates scheduling a VCCEP Peer Consultation Meeting on ethyl benzene (100-41-4) in early 2007.  Nominations are now being accepted for ad hoc panel members for this peer consultation.  Nominees should have expertise in areas of the exposure routes, toxicology, or risk assessment relevant to ethyl benzene, such as inhalation exposure and effects on the pulmonary, hematopoietic, or renal systems.

When nominating candidates, please follow TERA’s panel nominations policy posted on our web site at http://www.tera.org/peer/VCCEP/VCCEPNomSelectPolicy.html.  Please confirm that the nominee is willing to serve on the VCCEP panel, and include a brief statement in your nomination letter explaining how the nominee would benefit the overall panel.

The nomination period for ad hoc panel members for ethyl benzene will close on Monday, December 4, 2006.

If you have questions about this announcement or about the nominations procedure, please contact Dr. Dan Briggs as indicated below.
