When:   December 16-17, 1996

An independent panel of expert scientists and risk assessors met on April to review risk assessment documents on acrylonitrile, cadmium, and chromium. This meeting was conducted by Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA); a non-profit organization dedicated to the best use of toxicity data in risk assessment. Expert peer reviewers donated their time and talents to provide an independent review of the assessments. A comprehensive overall review of the materials was provided by the combined experience of all the reviewers.  Please note that in April 1998, this same panel of reviewers discussed a revised document for chromium, the meeting report is located on the April 1998 Meeting web page.
